Accessibility Statement

WALLACE wants everyone to be able to shop with us, online and in our store. We have made wallacespace.co accessible to people with disabilities, following the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 2013, and Israeli Standard IS 5568, which is based on the international WCAG 2.0 guidelines at level AA.

What we have done on the website

• Every product photo has a text description for screen readers.
• The whole site can be used with a keyboard alone, with a clearly visible focus outline.
• A “Skip to content” link lets keyboard users jump straight to the main content.
• Every page has a clear heading structure.
• Size and color choices, prices and sold-out sizes are announced to screen readers. Sold-out sizes are also crossed out, so they are not shown by color alone.
• Pop-up windows can be closed with the Escape key, and keyboard focus moves into them and back out.
• Moving content (the homepage slideshow and the announcement bar) can be paused.
• Forms are labeled, and error messages explain how to fix the problem.
• Text has enough contrast, and the site works with browser zoom and with the text-size settings on your computer or phone.
• Hebrew text is marked as Hebrew, so screen readers read it correctly.

Known limitations

• Checkout and customer account pages are run by Shopify. Shopify reports that its checkout supports most WCAG 2.2 level AA requirements and is working on the rest. If you have any trouble, contact us and we will help you complete your order by phone or email.
• On some homepage banners, the words are part of the picture. Each of these pictures has a text description with the same words.

• There is a step at the entrance, and there is no ramp at the moment. If you need help getting in, call us before your visit at 03-9329129 and we will be happy to help.
• The fitting room is suitable for a wheelchair.
• There is no customer restroom.
• There is no hearing loop.
• Service animals are welcome.
• Opening hours: Sunday to Thursday 11:00-19:00, Friday 11:00-15:00, closed Saturday.
